Cloud Storage Security Names Mike Henderson Chief Revenue Officer

July 15, 2024 - Cloud Storage Security (CSS), a leading provider of data security solutions for small- and mid-size businesses as well as enterprises, today announced that Mike Henderson has been named as its Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In this capacity, he will oversee the company’s business development, direct and channel sales activities, as well as customer relationship initiatives.

Henderson brings over 30 years of global technology sales experience to CSS. He has deep experience generating revenue for leaders in the cybersecurity, telecommunications, software, media, and enterprise sectors. Previously, he served in executive leadership roles with a number of technology leaders including GXC, Telcordia, and CSG International. 

“Mike’s unique abilities and proven market successes will help us accelerate our plans to increase revenue, expand into new markets and deepen relationships with organizations that are looking for advanced cybersecurity solutions that satisfy both existing and evolving business needs,” said Steven Hess, chief executive officer for CSS. “In addition, the appointment of Mike further solidifies CSS’s strategy of building a core leadership team that will propel the growth of the company on from innovation, product development, operations and revenue generation perspectives.”

CSS provides robust cybersecurity solutions to organizations across the world. In addition to relationships with integrators, MSPs and other channel partners, the company has a deep relationship with Amazon Web Services (AWS), which enables customers to access the company’s proven solutions and protect data stored in the cloud. The appointment of Mike Henderson rounds out the recent executive appointment of Rich Vorwaller, Chief Product Officer.

Henderson has a BS in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona and an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Rochester. When not leading CSS’s sales organization, you can find him running, reading, or traveling; he particularly enjoys time spent with his wife and family, including his dog Newman. Henderson is passionate about supporting causes that serve elder care, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and the Colorado Community Church. He is a resident of Denver, Colorado and serves on the Advisory Board of Lean Corporate Partners.
