Cloud Storage Security Names Steven Hess Chief Executive Officer

August 29, 2023 – Cloud Storage Security (CSS), a leading provider of data security solutions for AWS storage, today announced the appointment of Steven Hess as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Steven is a results-oriented executive with over two decades of strategic leadership and operational experience in scaling companies from early-stage through IPO in the technology and services sectors. As the leader of CSS, he is responsible for guiding the company’s climb to the top of the data security space by effectively developing and executing strategy, driving revenue growth, scaling the business, creating shareholder value, and improving and overseeing operational performance across the company.

A History of Excellence

Previously, Steven held key leadership roles at Vertafore, Zelis Healthcare, and MedAssets. His tenure in these positions was marked by strategic transformation, consistent revenue growth, and increased operational performance. Steven obtained his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Colorado State University.

Outside of Cloud Storage Security

While not leading CSS, Steven enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, and traveling to scenic destinations across the United States and world. Steven is also an avid climber and mountaineer who has summited the highest mountain on each of the seven continents (Everest, Asia; Denali, North America; Aconcagua, South America; Vinson Massif, Antarctica; Mount Elbrus, Europe; Mount Kosciuszko, Oceania; Kilimanjaro, Africa).
