May 20, 2024 – Cloud Storage Security (CSS), a leading provider of data security solutions for AWS storage, today announced the appointment of Rich Vorwaller as its Chief Product Officer (CPO).
Rich has more than 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud computing, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and product management. His career has been consistently marked with measurable improvements to revenue, operational efficiency, and most importantly, customer satisfaction. As CPO at CSS, he is responsible for product direction and development according to the customer and widespread market. His primary motivations are to truly understand the problems customers face and scrutinize the product against their needs.
“Rich brings an exceptional depth of knowledge in cloud computing and cybersecurity to CSS," says Steven Hess, CEO of CSS. "His customer-first approach aligns perfectly with our core values and enhances our commitment to delivering superior solutions for our users. With Rich's expertise in product strategy, his vision for innovation, and his ability to collaborate with our partners, we are well-positioned to accelerate our growth and continuously improve our offerings in the cloud security space.”
“I’m honored to join CSS and lead its product strategy during this exciting time of growth. Companies continue to fall victim to security breaches, and at the same time can’t hire enough skilled people to protect their data in the cloud. CSS’s simple and effective approach to securing data for web applications, GenAI models, and cloud infrastructure provides immense value and uplevels security for any customer in the cloud. Nothing is more gratifying than being faced with big customer challenges and then building solutions that solve those problems,” says Rich.
